The RCF Protecting Innovation (RCF PI) results from a spin-off in the of intellectual property area of Raúl César Ferreira e Herdeira, a company founded in 1929 by Eng. Raúl César Ferreira.
Established in 2017, as described above, RCF PI is a leading law firm in the Intellectual Property area, serving over 500 clients in more than 100 jurisdictions, giving support to its clients on issues related to trademarks, patents, and designs and models. It has over 40 employees, with approximately 51% of women and 49% of men, the majority of whom has university studies (being Law, Engineering and Economics degrees the most relevant).
It has been distinguished, in recent years, with several awards in the sector, such as the MIP (Managing Intellectual Property), Leaders League and WTR (World Trademark Review), as a reference company in the sector.
