RCF Protecting Innovation (RCF PI) is the result of a spin-off from the intellectual property area of Raúl César Ferreira e Herdeira, a company founded in 1929 by Eng. Raúl César Ferreira.

RCF PI, established in 2017, as previously described, is a leading Intellectual Property law firm, serving over 500 clients in over 100 jurisdictions, supporting its clients in matters relating to trademarks, patents and designs.

It has more than 40 employees, with around 51% women and 49% men, with the majority having university studies (Law, Engineering, Economics, as the most relevant).

In recent years, it has been distinguished with several awards in the sector, such as MIP (Managing Intellectual Property), Leaders League and WTR (World Trademark Review), as a reference company in the sector.
